I have one actual girlfriend that I see. She is a much bigger girl that I’d never go for. I’m not her type so not sure if I could smash if I want. But she is super cool and when I’m in her area in the North Bay I’ll stop in and we will have lunch. She is from Houston and I helped her move over to the west coast, so we have that southern bond.

Then I have another girl that I have slept with before but never will again that I consider a really really good friend and someone I feel I can confide in.

Other than that I don’t see any reason to seek out female friends without some other motives beside friendship. But sometimes it just turns out that a female fits that mold.

What say the OT? Was I wrong?

No. No man has a female friend he hangs out with with no thought of wanting to screw her.

I cant imagine any scenario where I would willingly hang out with a female without any relationship/sex prospects. Theres almost nothing I like that would cross over with females.

I have and have had females as friends..The problem is not with them it is their close girl friends..The girl friends get extremely jealous and controlling.. They think they are going to lose their position with their friend..It's actually pretty creepy..

I have several very good female friends who have helped me through some very tough times in life, and I have helped them as well. We know all of each other's dirty laundry and I love them for that.

None of them has had the amazing experience of being with me sexually

My wife's best friend when we first started dating tried to break us up because she was her friend that she went out with all of the time.

A heterosexual male with a female friend always entertains the poss8bility of sex. He may never act on it, but the thought is there.

Exactly. That was my point. I wasn't intending it as a knock on women. Probably could have worded it better.

i do,

the reason is that she's the sister of a friend of mine and our parents are basically best friends and do pretty much all holidays together

I absolutely understand situations like this where you have some connections to her. I was just thinking about a good friend that's "one of the guys" being a female. Particularly if you are in a relationship.

I had one for several years. She’s now my wife of almost ten years and mother of my two kids.
