I’ve got lots of things I could use the FlexTape, FlexShot, and FlexSeal products for around the house (none of which are building a boat out of porch screen), but the fact that it’s an infomercial leads me to believe it’s a gimmick.

Anyone tried this stuff? Does it work as advertised?

Of course they do. You wouldn't see it on tv otherwise.

Did you not see the man saw a boat in half then tape it up and run it with no problems?

It works but very expensive. 5ft of the tape is around $35. A gallon of the stuff you paint on with a brush is about $100

Its liquid rubber.

If you use Kitchen Gun I recommend flex seal. You will need it.

I love Kitchen Gun.

Yes and no.... I used some on my gutters and it worked, then I tried using some of the clear to seal between some cracks in my back patio and it did not work.

It works if you use multiple coats and allow for drying each time before applying the next coat.

The spray works if you shut off the water, wipe dry the leaking spot and spray a couple of layers. Heard the tape works well but like mentioned earlier the shite is expensive. The paint on stuff would be good on metal roofs of camps or sheds.

If you're talking about Francis, that's actually questionable. But I digress.

You may need to reapply every now and then, but Flex Seal spray has allowed me to keep a leaky garbage disposal up and running instead of having to replace it.

This.

Great for waterproofing the bottom of a backpack. It seeps into the nylon well.
