Adult picky eaters are weird to me. Sure, everyone has a few hangups like they don't eat pickles or mayo or whatever but for the most part I'll eat just about anything

For work travel, the picky eaters really come out in which you notice right away.

I never understood the well done steak phenomenon.

I used to travel with a guy for work that would only eat a hamburger with the meat and bun only or a steak. That's it. Guy was in his 40s too.

Yeah, right. That's why the older generation that ate tons of vegetables lived to 100 yrs old. But you do you.

It could be because they did not overeat and did physical work all day long.

When the garden is at peak production, it seems like the only thing I eat is tomatoes and cucumbers.

Every southerner I know will eat black eyed peas, limas, turnip greens and cornbread.

Born and raised in Georgia. I can assure you that cornbread is a giver of sustenance, but nothing else on that list will see my tastebuds by any choice of my own. Some folks just don't like certain things.

I love that he's classified cornbread as a vegetable.

Doesn't this kinda negate the benefits of eating veggies if you're cooking it in fat?

No?

Fat is good. Fat and vegetable fiber fills you up and satiates you so you eat less non-satiating food (like carbs).

My "go to" veg is steamed broccoli and kale with non-steamed peeled carrot strips on top.
