It takes a lot to offend me.

In the case I actually get offended, I may just give a and/or snarky comment. I wouldn't try to get the offender fired or anything, like some SJWs these days...

Just so we are clear, as a black male I do occasionally feel offended by some of the borderline racist comments on this forum. However, it never spawns any anger from me. Personally, I do not wear my feelings on my shoulders. I think action towards bettering oneself is better than gaining influence through "whining".

If I have any resentment, it is only that I am trying to find my own success and that I keep hitting roadblocks that hurt me professionally. But even in my worse situations I do not spend time directly blaming others and expecting handouts from the public at large.

I may not be the most welcomed guest, but I do believe in pulling my own weight. /response

I don't understand the concept of being offended. I've tried. I really have. I like to think of myself as a fairly empathetic person, but I just can't get in to the mind of someone who is offended. It's one of the few emotions I can't grasp.

I've been offended and I've told people that the guy who caused it is an a-hole in person, but never on social media. I could have easily gotten them fired for that but I did nothing.

You know what really grinds my gears?

People whining about other people complaining about being offended. You're making it worse.

Lots of white folk seem to be offended, butthurt, or something about those statues being moved. Just statues of some old dudes from over 100 years ago who they are not kin to, but they are sure are worked up about them.

For evidence, see the story on nola.com about the contractor (hired to remove the statues) being threatened physically and financially and quitting the job, plus the hundreds of comments under it.

The statues are equal opportunity offenders. Offended folks on both sides whining and crying.

I'm offended that they are all such pussies.

I can't think of much that offends me. Maybe if you hit a women in front of me or jerk off a kid in public

No. I get angry, but offended is not something I can say I've ever felt

Never will understand this. Why the hell will comments from nobodies, people you have never met and will likely never meet, why would those offend you?

That is simply pathetic.

I am certainly sure someone already replied this, but after taking the time to read this fools rant I felt compelled. Not reading all the replies.

You are offended if you let the words piss you off or let yourself verbally retaliate.

I'd venture a guess that your own delicate sensibilities have their limits, and that you, too, can be offended.
