In other words, DL Hughley was so f'ed up he passed out on stage and almost OD'd. His PR staff concocted Covid positive to smooth it over.

Convenient way to cover up an overdose. Dude was slurring before he passed out.
Reminds me of Prince, after he OD'd on a plane flight home which had to make an emergency landing, when he later covered it up by claiming he had "walking pneumonia". (A week later, he overdosed again and died.)
