They went scorched earth on those frickers. They stripped their charter, stripped everyone’s membership, AND put them on the street

Don't think people realize this is not a joke. The pledges have to actually screw the goat. This is animal abuse by all standards. Some kid recently brought the actual small goat up to CHS and was telling the CHS boys about it and laughing
You make me lol acting as if you know shite, when you know not shite. Haha

Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

Alabama has over 200 million dollars in bond issue to help upgrade Greeks
LINK This is from 2013
Since then I’d say Bama has done ok
Game day at AL Deke house puts all LSU experiences to shame. From the cash bars in the front and back yards to the live bands playing.
I was a Deke at LSU in the 80’s, as was my brother. None of our kids went/go to LSU. Of the 35 or so close Deke friends and family, 85% sent their kids elsewhere. Of the Alabama Dekes I know, almost 80% have kids that attended or are attending Alabama. Legacies list at AL Deke are long and strong, LSU legacy list is short or non existent.
Schools where Deke friends kids go linclude AL, Ole Miss, TX, GA, Tulane, SMU. Many went because the Greek systems were solid.
Let LSU keep sh!tting on the Greeks, Some of you keep telling yourselves it doesn’t matter. It does.

4 posts in 15 years.
Someone on here fricked a goat and pulled out the first alter ever created on this site to hide that fact.

Maybe he just posts when he has something worthwhile to say (unlike many on this board).

Serious question, do y'all have the wherewithal to go fully independent? I know the alumni have some heavy hitters, but going it alone is a tough (and very expensive) road.

Short answer, likely not.
With very little backing from Friar alumni due to the current state of the club I don’t see it happenening

Most chapters will go under. Some will continue as private clubs.
Getting insurance will be expensive and difficult though.
The need for Greek life will continue though. Clubs will try and fill that role. The experience will be underwhelming. You’ll also see a rise in hazing and alcohol issues, due to inexperience, and the lack of oversight.
Universities that sell a fun experience, like UVA, will suffer.

Fraternities are evolving into purely academic clubs.
Nationals are trying to make that transition.
It’s a certain death though. Membership will dwindle into nothing, and the chapters will sell their houses.

I have no idea wtf that means but ok.
When football dies because it is uninsurable...

The fuktards that run the univeristy will have an “oh sh!t” moment.
LSU will be on par with ULL

Oh, you know. The goat doesn't remember because it wasn't her first, but you most definitely remember.

While on the third floor, a man confronted the volunteer. The volunteer explained his position and turned to leave the floor, but a second man, later identified as Lorusso, pushed him down the stairs.
The volunteer fractured his hand and needed 13 stitches and surgery to recover from the injury.
Sounds like he had a "Get off my floor GDI" moment.

There's actually a lot of truth in this post. Also driving this is the amount of money Alabama is willing to give out of state students. fricknuts Jindal and the state killed the momentum LSU built in the early to mid 2000's. The lower quality admin we got is anti-Greek.
