Hate to be the hearer of bad news, but a bunch of breweries did this. They all had a basic concept and each put their own spin on it.

Actually, it's not just Dixie. Lots of breweries have come out with similarly titled beers as part of the whole BLM movement.

As have quite a few other LA breweries and more around the country. Black is Beautiful is a nation wide collaboration with Weathered Souls, a black owned brewery out of San Antonio. Basically they created the base recipe, and a bunch of other breweries tweaked it and released their own versions.

Uh, there are plenty of poor whites in New Orleans too....
How about a Honky is Fonky Pale Ale?

quote:

The “Black is Beautiful” Stout beer will only be available at the brewery’s taproom. It comes in a 4-pack of 16 ounce cans for $14.99 and single cans for $5.

$5 a can for any product that Dixie puts out. Average beer in trendy cans has been their business model for quite some time.

ou can see it coming. It’s right there, right in front of you. But you can’t react. You can only succumb—and dread the deafening, accompanying “BANG!” as your car dives head first into one of New Orleans’ notorious potholes.

As you fall deeper and deeper into the abyss, the darkness grows blacker. It feels like a free fall, suspended in space. These craters in the street, they aren’t just potholes. They’re blackholes.

And we couldn’t think of a better way to honor these New Orleans staples than with a powerful, boozy, bitter IPA. Introducing Blackhole Pothole, the perfect beer to help you forget about—if even just for a little—these tire killers. Raise a Blackhole Pothole to the sturdy bumpers in your life.

Did they come up with a new name yet, or has that virtue signal expired?

This platitude is so ridiculous. How can anyone who lives in America and not under a rock have their awareness raised any more. It’s in your face every day.

How about we raise awareness to Black on Black crime?

quote:

All the proceeds from the brewery’s dark-colored Imperial Stout beer will be donated to Operation Restoration, which is a New Orleans-based nonprofit focusing on helping women impacted by incarceration to successfully re-enter the community. “Being poor in the city of New Orleans has taken away the right to equal justice and the presumption of innocent until proven guilty for far too long. The mission of Operation Restoration’s Safety and Freedom fund is to give poor people equal opportunities while they await trial by ending the cash bail system that has oppressed us for over 50 years.” said Operation Restoration’s Safety and Freedom Fund Director for Continuity, Montrell Carmouche.

I am so happy to help criminals!
