Hubigs are coming back.

My 1st cousin married into that family. After Katrina we had a fully stocked Hubigs van in front of our house in BR and I ate so many I couldn’t stomach them for years

ETA:

The plan is to come back I should say.

Dixie is a great lawnmower beer, especially on tap.

How long before the NOLAE natives protest and vandalize the brewery for having a "racist" name?

It won’t be the locals. It’ll be the white transplants from California or the northeast who take it upon themselves to be offended on behalf of the locals. That idiot who owns Courtyard will probably cry and sky scream about it.

The Spackman and Mossop people are Australian. The Michaels should have known better. He's American.

The joke being the presentation of a brewery as a playground.

Keep up folks.

Also why are there so many unattended children playing in front of a brewery?

Have you not been to Urban South Brewery?

It's not deep in the East like Jazzland. It's off the first exit.
Being built in what used to be one of the largest climate controlled warehouses before it burnt down. It almost completely burnt down and still has 300,000 square feet to use.

Lakefront Airport terminal is super nice in the East, with a Messina's restaurant in it.

The new Dixie is surprisingly good. Really good, in fact. I was shocked.

So isn't this the old Pick 'n Save/McFrugals building?

You know what would be an awesome development? A big area with old Nola businesses. Dixie, Eckard's, Hubig's, K&B, etc

...and you forgot Time Saver and Maison Blanche.
