Should we continue with the myths?
Or, can we be honest about the realities of divorced dads?

Also, NEVER demonize her in front of the children. If she's a bitch they'll figure it out.
I would add, NEVER demonize her in front of ANYONE, other than your attorney. If she's a bitch, they too will figure it out. You'll look better for taking the high road.

This. My kids are young but are just figuring this out. I've even corrected my son when he would get smart with his mother even though I can't stand the woman.
Don't talk about your ex with someone your with either. The last woman I dated for a while kept making it her fight even though I told her to let me handle it. Then again she was a little psycho and immature so there's that.

You didn’t do this when you got divorced?
I lost 90 lbs, learned some conficdence, learned how to interact with women, and hand a grand old time of it. It helps to get over the ex, momentarily, when you are rutting up in some new tang.

Any advice for preparing for an impending separation/ divorce? TIA
1. Don't show affection to a new woman in front of your kids. If she meets your kid(s) by chance, introduce her as you would a male buddy and KEEP it that way for long as possible.
2. frick alot of new poon.
3. don't kill your ex nor talk bad about her in front of the kids.

Get you finances in order, you don't want to bankrupt either of you. Don't run up a bunch of credit card debt while you're separated. Get legally separated as soon as possible, so whatever debt she runs up, is not your problem anymore. It's a bitch at first, but keep yourself occupied. Go hunting, fishing, pick up a hobby to keep you out of the house as much as possible. If you just sit at the house getting drunk and pitying yourself, you'll never make it and go back sliding to her. If you start dating on the apps, vet them very well before you meet up with them. Don't let the ex find out about it until the divorce is final, but you can definitely trade up in the bedroom pretty easily. There's plenty of upper 20's lower 30's tang out there that just needs a good dicking. Most importantly, spend as much time with your kids as possible. It's important to stay civil with your ex for this very reason, so that you can see them more often and so that she can stay flexible with your visitations.
