Displaying the US Flag incorrectly, ABC TV show

As a veteran, this offends me more than Kapernick kneeling (I don't care if I misspelled the fricker's name). He has the right to do the stupid shite he is doing.
On the other hand...
On the ABC show, "Designated Survivor", they had a fallen Navy SEAL. The stupid fricks at ABC displayed the flag incorrectly on the casket.
If you are going to make money on a fictitious story that has a fallen SEAL, at least do it correctly.
And before any of you ask, its not accidentally shown in reverse, the scene before showed the casket outside, it was the same.

So you don't think that at any point during the preparation of this show, this scene, the construction of this set piece, that someone with a hint of military background was consulted?
A little silly to think not right? Sounds like they missed it too or are simply not offended by everything

What's the correct orientation for future reference?

The stars go over the left shoulder, covering the heart. The only time the Union (blue section) should be displayed on the left.

That's fricked up.

I am not offended by everything, but this offends me. They are using the flag as a prop, not showing it respect.

That's right. Damnit I know that and didn't catch it.
FWIW, I was in the Chase Bank on Perkins the other day and looked over and they had the big flag tossed on top of a file cabinet in the corner. I asked for the Manager and, politely, asked her what the frick they were thinking. She just had no clue. I held an impromptu folding and storage lesson for her staff right there in the lobby. Stunned me that six kids had no idea of how to properly fold the flag.

Thank you for your service

What if this is foreshadowing that the death was staged and the incorrect positioning of the flag is a huge hint that will later be revealed?
It's a tv show.

Thanks for doing this - you would think that someone would google that information. Thanks for helping them out

Being a veteran doesn't give you the right to be a triggered-happy bitch.
You live in the greatest country that has ever stood.
Find something worth bitching about.

How does one get so upset over a TV show?
Quit acting like a giant pussy.

Maybe he's face down in the coffin.
It's a tv show. Fiction. Sounds like you enjoyed the other 99.5% of the show.
