Universal is awesome. Such a great park. The epic world they are adding is huge.

Islands is good, but the original park is dead, especially if you're not a Potter fan.
Now they are getting rid of Rocket so it will be even worse for several years.

Unless they did this sometime in the last 6 months and it got zero coverage, you're making shite up.
EDIT: I assumed they were talking about Tower of Terror in Disney world since that's the park OP is about. Disneyland did make this change to TOT.
