Granted, I know the College Program isn't remotely about making money, but why not just go work seasonally not part of the program, and make $5/hour more?

If I'm not mistaken, certain seasonal work is exempt from federal and possibly state minimum wage requirements. I know the Disney move was in response to the union, so that's a different animal, but it could still apply.

Ah, so it wouldn't just be college program specifically, but possibly that plus anyone considered a seasonal employee.

Makes sense.

Is this a pro-Union propaganda piece? They're just pots for the Democrat campaign funding, there's no other way around it.

Minimum wage is what? $11-$12 in California.

Good for the workers.

Took mine to Land once when we lived in the area and World once just because...Can't imagine what kind of therapy they would need if I had gone to Vegas while their mom took them to the parks

I can't imagine how dumb I'd have to be to make such certain proclamations with zero context, but I guess you could explain it to me.

Before the age of 5, my kids had pretty easily gone to DW over 100 times, that's a conservative estimate.

I always wondered how it feels to be terribly wrong and make yourself look foolish. Tell me how that feels, I'm genuinely interested.
