If you are senior now, it means you were what, 16 when you joined? Don't we have an age limit....? Damn youngins.

I scored a 27 as a freshman. Studied for it as a senior and made a 33 so its doable. The ACT is easy if you study for it correctly
You a got 33 and went to ole miss?? They must've offered you full tuition plus a car as a bonus.

I jumped 26 to 30 when I took mine, but didn't really increase studying any more. Just luck with the questions more than anything I guess. No reason not to take it again IMO. It got me $30k more off LSU than I would have got originally

Made that exact jump between 7th and 9th grade - guess those were two big years in terms of subject matter. Just be patient.

So I am sure this turned into the 34th OT ACT score bullshite thread ..

I made a 19. Better than I expected...it sucks only making $400k per yr.

Lets just say I made money off of college. I probably could have went somewhere else, but I knew Ole Miss is where I wanted to go. I had a desire to be in the medical field, and undergrad really doesnt make much of a difference towards that. Im glad I went that route since medical school debt is now piling up haha

Imagine what she could of scored if she wasn't driving your tipsy taxi every weekend to NOLA when she was 16!

That's not bad if you average a double double in high school

30 in reading
28 in english
16 in math - just mentally quit halfway through and didn't bubble in rest of the answers.
Science 23 - didn't bubble in the last 10
This thread has gone on for tons of pages so this has probably been addressed but:
DO NOT EVER EVER EVER LEAVE SOMETHING BLANK!!!!
You do not lose points for a wrong answer on the ACT, you only gain points for correct answers. Therefore, ALWAYS TAKE A GUESS. If you realize you have 1 minute left and 15 questions unanswered, just race through and bubble in random letters. However, the best thing is to re-take and be more mindful of your time. Skip really hard questions and come back to them later. You may have not answered some very easy questions, they don't go in order of difficulty so some easy questions can be at the end. Then you can go back and try the hard questions or just guess on them, usually you can at least eliminate a choice or two.
I would try again, you could improve quite a bit by not leaving some answers blank but to get up to a 30 when only reached that score in one area to begin with may be a stretch. Only one way to find out, though.
Also, do not waste your time reading all the science passages. Read the questions and find the answers as most of them deal with graphs or tables. You can usually answer all questions without having to read the entire passage first. What most people do is read the entire passage, read question #1 and then go back and try to find the answer again. Waste of time. Skip the first part. Same for the Reading section but you did quite well on that section but maybe this could improve your score on that section, too.

Get a study book, practice tests for 3 months, make a 30+..
If you made a 24, odds are you know most of the content. It's mostly about learning the formatting and learning to quickly eliminate answers that aren't possible.
In short, these tests are a breeze if you put in the practice time. Without knowing all of the content you can still up your odds by the process of elimination.

I made a 34. A 17 my first time and a 17 my second time.

You couldn't get a 30 even if you had meth and got to take it untimed. You just aren't a 30 kind of kid.
There is nothing wrong or shameful about a 26. Despite what these queers claim, very few scored even that.
