Dirty Gas Station Bathrooms

Driving through the night makes you stop at some shitty (pun intended) gas station bathrooms. Why can’t these people put in just a little effort and clean up the bare minimum?
Nothing but pissed-stained toilet seats, piss smell, and God knows what has touched every surface in that shite hole. Why does it look like a wet dog went in there and just shook itself dry?
Btw: I use my shoe to flush and I use my own hand sanitizer. frick washing my hands only to have the AIDS jump back on when I open the door.
Don’t like it? Pick an Arby’s to meet me at.

I don't stop at anything less than a truck stop style place for bathroom breaks. The bathroom difference is night and day.

The big shell by the interstate in Laplace has the nastiest piss stained toilets I have ever seen. shite hasn’t been cleaned in years

I know it may seem trashy, but pissing in a bottle or on the side of the road would alleviate this trauma for you.

Spent several years working outside sales all over south LA and this is the correct answer. Hotel lobbies are always super clean and sometimes have free coffee

I'm from Arizona and this is false.
If you can't figure out a higher class vs lower class gas station restroom, you need more life skills. In Arizona, QuickTrip is easily the most consistently decent restroom quality.
It's still a gas station bathroom, though. There's no dude in a tux to hand you a warm towel.
One quick tip, if the bathroom isn't in the store and you need to get the key and go around back, good luck. That **** is going to be the wild west in there. In store bathrooms are usually marginally better.

When road tripping I try to stop at truck stops / travel plazas when I can. Or, make it a meal stop.
Most small/regular "gas stations" usually only have 1 employee working and thus no one is cleaning the bathrooms.
My wife's family always did the "stop at a hotel lobby" thing but I always thought it was just weird and not right. Whenever we stop for bathroom, I always try to buy something. Food, gas, whatever.

The newer Loves travel stops usually have cleaner bathrooms and decent food.
The older ones suck.
