Back when I was a youngster, we would occasionally play a game called Ding Dong Ditch. For those that don’t know how this works, basically you ring somebody’s doorbell, when you hear it go Ding Dong, then you run away (Ditch) before anybody can look through the peep hole or open the door to see who it is. There’s also a different variation of the game where you knock and then run away.

With doorbell cams today, does anybody know if kids still play this game? It doesn’t make much sense to Ditch, if you are already on camera. Do the kids have to wear their Halloween masks to play? Or do they have one kid, who has steady hands, with a laser pointer across the street who is shining his laser into the camera lense?
