Yes. Same problem.

We did get the ID card forms for the upcoming year in order to enter everyone’s student info.

We snuck in a fake birthdate for everyone making them 18 years old. Legal drinking age at the time.

The school never caught it and every place accepted it. We were 15 years old at the time.

I got legend status from that home eco class. I was chosen (as a sophomore) to participate in a pretend wedding. I was not wanting to do it but my bridesmaid was a senior cheerleader and I aint gonna lie she was a looker. I caught sh*t from my baws at the time but looking back damn I am glad I did it. She gave me a kiss on the cheek for doing it and I never forgot it. I did look her up years later but my military service got in the way. Oh what could have been.

We took BCA in high school, and I remember some typing “lessons” we had in elementary school but it wasn’t a whole class.

Yes…and with the advent of computers a few years later, it turns out to be one of the most useful classes I took in high school. I find it puzzling that schools are cutting it out now.

Our rural school required keyboarding in the 90s due to the surge in computers. I can still put my hands on home row keys and type away thanks to that class. They would put a guard over your hands so you couldn't look. You had to remember the keys.

3rd hour my Sr year.

My typing teacher was murdered after my college years. Sucks. She was a nice woman and a really good teacher.

I took it. Good class. Should be required along with intro to personal finance.

I took typing at Holy Cross, manual typewriter not electric. Nasty old brother taught it and I think it was mandatory.

Yes, in the 10th grade and tested at near the top of 10th grade, not just the class. I actually liked it and used the skill in my first job. I wrote practices and other documents on a regular basis.

Over time, once I had to focus more on a number pad on a PC I went to 6, then 4 fingers to the hunt and peck method.

Type to learn in elementary school (Born in 1990) and never had that in high school.

I play too many video games & type faster and more efficient than anyone I know.

Yep. Football coach taught it. He mostly just yelled at us for an hour.
