According to WaPo I think one of us is lying

Possibly both

My dad bought me a New England firearms single shot 410 at Service Merchandise when I was about 9.

It's 33 years old now and has never killed anyone. It did kill a lot of rabbits, squirrels, snakes, birds (sorry about that) and 2 deer though

Don’t want to brag but I bought a new 308 and haven’t killed a single human with it

I bought a Mauser .308 that's has notches on the stock. Weird feeling to shoot it.

I would bet that none of the guns purchased during the last three months were used during the commission of violent crime unless they were stolen from the purchaser. People who legally purchase guns are typically not the ones who commit violent crime. Those acts are committed by people with stolen weapons.

I have to be honest... One of my guns about 2 weeks ago started looking a little unhinged. Like something wasn't right with him.

I talked to him, and calmed him down before he went out and did something he'd regret later. I told him I'd get him some counceling, or treatment. This only upset him even more, as he accused me of only saying that bc he was black....

I decided it was for the best if I removed his rounds, and defused the situation. Better safe then sorry. I feel really good inside that I was able to prevent more senseless deaths to occur.

I've got several guns just hanging out, chilling. They must be lazy, pothead guns or something. They never go out and do anything on their own accord. Seems like I'm carrying them all the time.

gUnS aRe BaD!!!

No, the criminals who break the law using firearms that were obtained illegally are bad. I would be SHOCKED if more than a slim percentage of legal firearm owners are responsible for the crime rate.
