Movies and books usually show the "Alamo Flag". Was this not flown?

Mexico has the actual captured flag from the Alamo. It’s on display at a museum in Mexico City. The Texas government has fought for years to try to get them to return it, and to this day they have refused.
Sounds like some guys should take a road trip down to Mexico City for some cultural re-appropriation.

Owlie would be more motivated to smash and grab if the flag represented the New Orleans Gays.

If they had just one more person from Louisiana at the Alamo then Texas would have prevailed.

Sounds like a job for the OT. Owlie make some calls.
There is a bounty on capturing it by any means necessary and turning it over to Texas. It was hidden from the public for awhile because of the bounty.

Don't give the deplorables any ideas. They already have enough flags flying from their F-150's

We should trade them there children back for the flag.

Yep, the Texas Independence movement was about creating another slave state
As a direct descendant of immigrants to Mexican Texas from Prussia, you're wrong. And they fought in the revolution for Texas because they left politically oppressive Prussia to come to live in freedom in a Republic. Did some want Texas to be a state in the US? Sure. But many more wished to remain in Mexico and try to work things out up until it was clear that would never happen. Travis was a hothead and one of those that wanted Texas to be a slave state. Austin wanted to use diplomacy, and for his efforts he was cast onto a Mexican prison where he was forced to admit that Texas would have to fight its way out.
The Constitution of 1824 flag alledgedly flew at the Alamo as a poke in the eye to Santa Anna. Texas was only one of many Mexican Federalist states (territory actually) to rebel against the Centralist government at that time, and was the only one to successfully win independence and stay out of Mexican rule. The Yucatan fought into the 1840s and remained independent until rejoining Mexico once it reverted back to a federal government.
Santa Anna marched to San Antonio de Bexar directly from putting down a revolutionary uprising in Zacatecas. People all over Mexico were pissed about him usurping power from the republic.
You know very little of the political climate surrounding the Texas revolution.

I'm sorry, I mean "enslaved people"

I actually died at the Alamo.
On the banner of heroes of the Alamo on the wall inside, you will find my (exact) name listed.
My family came through Alabama and some stayed there. My namesake, was in Mobile and went from there to the Alamo with others to fight. He was killed in the battle.

Yeah, that's not correct
It seems very likely that the flag of Mexico flew there.
