Did you have a “Wtf am I doing” thought before getting married?

I’m not married, nor do I plan on getting married anytime soon, but I just can’t imagine what thoughts would be running through my head months and weeks/days leading up to the wedding.

And how did that marriage end if so?

Nah, not before getting married. I had one before proposing to my wife, and one a few months into marriage when it dawned on me I could knock her up and nobody freak out.

I have a "WTF am I doing" moment every 5 minutes.

Definitely did.

Only to have her file for divorce 7 years later.

Probably should have listened to that little voice of wisdom the morning of the wedding

We lived in sin for over a year before we got married. It was kind of just a formality.

I don't think so. I had a lot going on that day. I found out she was pregnant a few hours before the ceremony so my brain was too fried for any reflection.

So far, so good 20 years later.

I'm sure a lot of people do these days... but then they think of all the social media likes and attention they will get and go through with it

About two days before we found out my wife was pregnant I had a talk with her expressing that I thought we should wait a year. Apparently the deed was already done though

Nope.

Every woman I dated before my wife I struggled with the idea of marriage. That’s how I knew they weren’t “the one”. Wife was a no brainer, never once did I NOT consider it nor have I ever had a second of regret.

Yep, I was working put of state at the time . I almost stayed behind but I think it was just the thought of not being free anymore that scared me. Will make 20 years in May

Nope, but then again we got married after 5 months so that shows you the kind of judgement I have.

I still ask that question from time to time but I think I’m going through the mid life crisis stage.

How old are you? I feel like I should start planning for mine soon
