Yup. It had a monumental effect on me growing up.

As an adult, I go every week along with my wife.

We went pretty much every Sunday growing up. Not so much now. Once in a blue moon. Doesn’t mean I don’t read the good book or speak to God.

Yes, multiple times a week. Still go weekly as an adult and enjoy it. Times when we're gone for multiple weekends and not in church, I can definitely tell and miss it. Fellowshipping with other believers is very important as a Christian.

Grew up Catholic. Stopped going regularly in college. I'm a one timer a year now, Christmas Eve service. I honestly do it not to create a big family fight with my dad. But honestly, while I believe in God, the church is pretty much dead to me. To me it just comes off as meaningless and artificial. The same people you see in church are the same people who will cut you off and give you the finger rushing out of the parking lot.

Nope, it’s you. Zappas Stache hates black people. They aren’t bad at all. Just have to get to know some. Good luck

Yes three times a week and now I lead/pastor a church in North Carolina.

Sharing the gospel and being there for people is a big part of my life. Lots of people are hurting and a positive church experience can be the difference in the life of a person.
Many people have had bad experiences in church. Unfortunately, many have left faith in Christ because of those experiences.

Same here. Went my entire life, every Sunday morning, every Sunday evening, and on Wednesday nights as well. Had a big impact on my life growing up. Nothing negative too, all positive I’d say. I joined a frat in college, and my church thought I was the spawn of Satan and such. It was at this time, that I realized these people aren’t what they preach. Then I finally grew up at 23, and decided to stop believing in fairy tales, and haven’t been back since.

COC people are very small minded individuals, and don’t understand that the way they are, will push people away from that place. Then they wonder why COC is so small, and why there aren’t too many young people attending COC.
