When I was a senior at 18, my girlfriend at the time was a junior at 16, and one night I went over to sneak into her house, which she definitely was consensual in, a cop drives by just as I'm halfway in her window.

He slams on his brakes and shines a spotlight in her window and demands me to come outside, she goes to the window and said that I'm her boyfriend, I wasn't breaking in. He replies with "Sir, if you don't come out right now, I have a k-9 in the backseat that I will turn loose"

Well I was fricked. He asked me my age I say 18 and he asks her age and she says 16 like an idiot. He immediately puts me in cuffs in her front yard. The mom comes outside and all hell breaks loose. She's yelling at my girlfriend and I'm just sitting in the front yard in cuffs. Cop asks if she wants to press charges on me and she says no so I call my brother and we high tail it the frick out of there.

Luckily her dad wasn't home, but we had a nice conversation about that a couple days later.

This was in an upper middle class neighborhood. Not trashy at all.

Yeah when I was 18 my gf was still 17 and wouldn't turn 18 for a few months. Really sketched me out. I understand that's the only kind of instance where it MIGHT be considered okay.

That would be felony carnal knowledge of a minor if the difference is over 4 years. If you're 22 you would be better off leaving her alone. If you're 20 or under its a misdemeanor.

A friend of mine had just bought his first condo when he was 22. He started dating a high school girl who lived upstairs with her divorced mother. She knew him b/c he'd graduated from the same private school. She was 16 when they began dating. He took her to prom and everything. She basically lived with him and her mom didn't care.

I was 14 and she was 25. I loved when she babysat.
