So explain it to me, why the ?

That's exactly how the term 'red pilled' has been used for the past 20 years.

Why do you find this funny?

Didn’t they get in deep with a dominatrix and they lost their minds?

That's the explanation almost 25 years later.

Originally, critical analysis of the movie drew a lot of comparisons to stuff like the Gnostic gospels and other esoteric near-Eastern religions. It was very interesting, and gave a lot of depth to the movie.

Imho, it doesn't fit the movie that it was really about something as banal as being trans. Or maybe it really is that shallow. Everyone who thought they saw something more just saw what they wanted to see, and it was yet more meaningless Hollyweird garbage.

Ok Socrates. What’s the real world actually, then?

A fantastic Queensryche song, actually.

We're not batteries, best I can tell, but we are pawns. The 'Deep State' is very much real. Politics and favoritism exists for the 'in' crowd.

If you have to ask, then no, you're not in it. None of us are.

Red pilled is actually a subset of conservatism that is anti-feminism and believes that the entire social structure of the modern West is designed and set up to serve women.

"If you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you."

The Matrix is a mind-frick of a movie. You have to dip deep into your shadow to create that shite.

It's sad when the only way a successful white man to be relevant in Hollyweird is to cut his dick off.

The total inability to do anything right after the first one leans into the argument that they stole large parts of the story wholesale from someone else.

All attempts at continuing the story and laying a philosophy on top of the first movie failed miserably for a variety of reasons.

They never stopped being brothers. Cut your dicks off all you like. You’ll still never be a female.
