Does anyone have pictures of Omi? Think some of their roof is in our street and this may be their roof rafter spiked in the neighbors house.

The roof of one of the buildings between Omi and the Scuba diving place on One Calais was ripped off and blocking part of the interstate this morning.

I looked it up and the roof of 8146 One Calais came off, it’s the office for Otey White and Saia. I didn’t notice if Omi had any damage.

Live off Jefferson near Bluebonnet and house down the street has an oak tree laying on the back side of the house. I was told by the neighbor that it landed over the master bedroom and sheet rock came crashing down on the lady living there. She had to hurry and evacuate quickly because of gas or her alarm was saying to evacuate within 3 minutes because it was detecting gas.

did diane deaton have a stroke? or did she come to work drunk or hungover? She spent at least 30 minutes staring at her montior and mumbling incoherent shite over and over. matt and lauren even tried to cover for her.

Was she awful, or what? Totally freaked out. Was maniacally zooming in and out, panting and whispering like a porn star.

ETA: When Jay finally got there he said, “let’s hold it still now” then thankfully took over completely. She was still incoherently chirping in the background until I guess someone led her to a safe space.

No ETA our power restoration. Safe bet were out all day, if not longer, imo.

8146 had its roof torn off, the metal panels everywhere came from the place next door it looks like. There are pieces of that roof in our neighborhood. I saw them in several places but couldn't figure out where they'd come from. That thing was a monster, we're lucky it didn't do far worse.

Just catching up. Our power blinked off when it was passing through the neighborhood but came right back on. I drive out via Pine Park and down Bluebonnet to work every day. I saw nothing that indicated we had anything more than a good rain on my way to work. Amazing how much difference suck a small distance makes in terms of impact.

Hopefully they'll have you on soon, it looks to be a relatively small area

In 2005 I lived on Downing halfway between Chelsea and the circle. A storm blew through and snapped off the top of a tree that hit my power line going from the house to the pole. That storm went in a straight line that crossed Drusilla and left damage in that path.

The damn branch pulled the circuit box out of position and I had to get another one and a new meter.

Then Katrina hit the state like two weeks later. Lost power again.

Jefferson Terrace Subdivision. We got a direct hit. Lost AC, phone, cable, 65" TV fried, security system. We are having our insurance look over our house. Roof?

We saw a bright white light and a sonic boom that shook the house. Our alarm just went nuts.
