It’s a historical musical based on a fantastic biographical book of Alexander Hamilton and the beginning of this country by Ron Chernow.
Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote the musical
and won Tony, Grammy, and a fricking Pulitzer. Brilliant adaptation of the book.
It’s done in a somewhat hip-hop, rap style so the cast is a mix of black, caribbean, white cast members.
