Who knows. The Chief of Police is a fricking idiot.

This is the same police of chief whose department completely screwed up 3 major crime scenes (including the one involving Derek Todd Lee. He was the chief of police back then).

But the thing is, WBRZ reported this story and he then goes on the defense, however; he could have easily controlled the narrative when they contacted him about this. Instead he didn't take their call and didn't call them back.

If it was a situation of assisted suicide that is a strange way to go about it.

Right. And the way the Chief of Police is handling this, it makes you wonder if he had anything to do with it or know who was involved.

What’s with the Addis police dept and making murders into accidents? I saw on the news they botched an older murder as well saying it wasn’t foul play

I really have no idea, but if I had to guess, I would say since they are a very small department with limited resources, they are unable to do an accurate investigation and because Anderson doesn't want other departments to come in and work "his cases", he would rather close the case than actually have it investigated properly.

This is only an assumption, but either way.. These local politicians need to be reminded who they work for.

Ricky Anderson is a good police chief. He is involved with the people and gets to know his community. As far as this murder, it was absolutely homicide, in IMHO! The guy had Parkinsons, which would make it nearly impossible to have bound himself. It does not make sense. His home health nurse found him. It really doesnt matter if it was sex gone wrong, in the end, its still homicide or negligent homicide. If it was sex, then his partner left him that way. Either way, a man lost his life, which is a tragedy.

What do you base this opinion on? You said RA is a good police chief. He said there is nothing to indicate murder. Do you think he is lying?

I am not sure is "lying" is the correct word to use. Maybe to the best of his knowledge, he thinks it was not murder. He was also quoted as saying, "the truth will all come out soon enough." What is your opinion?

Maybe, but he looks immature and incompetent when he posts in incomplete sentences on Facebook about an open case.
