Did anyone get a letter from Georgia Tech?

I got a letter I think is a scam. It's claims it from Georgia Institute of Technolongy. But the seal is missing. I applied at Tech nearly 20byear ago. Is this a scam?

Was it about the security breach? I've heard that some people who applied there but aren't actually students received the letter too.

Of course I did. I thought all males were automatically accepted to Ga Tech whether they applied or not?

I’m pretty sure this is valid. Same thing with auburn.
I got partially accepted to tech. They said I had to take cal I and 2 and a few other classes somewhere else first and I was like “no thanks.” I wonder how different my life would have been.
Also, frick tech. Your a tech school and you can’t protect your ducking data. Wtf, what are you teaching your students

My 40 yr old son got one today and he lives in Arkansas. He’s never been or applied there. Tore it up and threw it away.

I got the same letter from LSU a year or so ago. They had a security breach at their enrollment office and personal information was taken. They offered the free year with some ID protection program. I didn’t sign up, and nothing ever came of it.
