The amount of loss productivity was staggering yesterday and it never happened.

Did you actually buy them? Or did you take advantage of the $750 rule in Dallas County?

It might be worth the drive to Dallas just for that rule.

I will give the weather people some credit, they stated the real action would be later in the evening - 7-Midnight. It eventually came in after midnight, but not bad at all. The regular people just lost their shite though.
People were shutdown at 3PM. Schools and daycares closing early, sports cancelled even though it was sunny outside. People bubble wrapping their cars.
One thing DFW does well, over-react to possible weather.

It was a hell of a thunderstorm.
Lightning like crazy. But yeah, I don’t think winds got above like 40 mph at least at my place.

Our office there shut down at 3. I looked at the radar and there was nothing near DFW for 100’s of miles

I don’t think you know how weather works or how storms form

One kid made it through not waking up, the other climbed into bed with us to make sure we were awake.
Luckily they both know how to ride bikes, so I had that covered

I was with the other 12 people at the Rangers game last night. Two trash cans blown over this morning at the house.
Being a weatherman would be great. Be absolutely terrible at your job and people still listen to you like you have it all figured out.

It's horrible here in Baton Rouge.
