Bliss. We eloped. Had a quick ceremony under an oak tree at a public park then had drinks and dinner after. Had a killer suite for the weekend & a driver for the wedding day/night. Easy.

Don't remember much of my wedding, I was trashed the entire time. The next morning I woke up dazed and confused, jumped up out of bed thinking I had to take her back to her parents house.

I was pretty sad honestly. Problem was my dad’s funeral was the following day. He died the Wednesday before our wedding Saturday, so we ended up getting married Friday night instead and his funeral was Saturday. That whole experience is the epitome of bittersweetness. It was equally the best and worst few days of my life.
