What was COD?

According to the report, "CARDIOPULMONARY ARREST COMPLICATING LAW ENFORCEMENT SUBDUAL, RESTRAINT, AND NECK COMPRESSION.

In other words, not hypoxia, not asphyxiation...

I understand you aren't happy about it, but that doesn't change the scientific findings. Dude's heart was, at some points, up to 90% obstructed, CV19, fentanyl, meth, sickle cell traits plus he spazzed out and overexerted himself.

What didn't happen was Chauvin choking him or suffocating him or restricting oxygenated blood to his brain. He was fat, full of dope, had SEVERE cardiopulmonary problems, coronavirus, and potentially had a blood disorder.

But if you want to stack all of that science up against the poor optics of a video, I suppose that's on you.

These courtTV anchors are so biased. Seems like they - of all people - should understand the importance of impartiality.

How long does the brain have to be hypoxic before you see microscopic evidence and how does this lack of hypoxia support an opioid overdose?

Beats me. The other dude said maybe he didn't get blood to the brain and the autopsy didn't show any sign of it. That's all I said.

How irresponsible was the woman who was with the 9 year old girl to stop and watch the arrest unfold? All so that older girl could videotape it? What a community.

i agree and it is just amazing how rosy colored glasses black people are. "everything is happy in side so why the use of force outside" Ha you go into that neighborhood as a white cop and see how happy everything is.

They really are. It's especially bad that the defense attorney they just had on is talking about how gentle George Floyd looked and disagreed with the white guy saying the 9 year old girl was a human prop. I mean, come on, the 9 year old girl was a human prop that brought nothing to it and shouldn't have even been there if the woman she was with didn't stop to video tape it so she could post it on worldstar and get street cred.

So question about the charges and what we’re seeing from the case:

If they determine that Chauvin didn’t kill Floyd but rather did not get help when he could have to save Floyd’s life, will Chauvin be guilty of the charges against him?

I guess is “criminal negligence” part of what they’re prosecuting him for?

Oh, no idea. I'd have to look up the MN revised statutes. Criminal negligence may some certain elements that have to be fulfilled. So I've got no clue.

I could see him being guilty of some sort of negligence but murder? Absolutely not.
