That is correct, didn't say it was.

I could see him being guilty of some sort of negligence but murder? Absolutely not.

A little Google-Fu showed:
quote:

609.233 CRIMINAL NEGLECT.
A caregiver or operator who intentionally neglects a vulnerable adult or knowingly permits conditions to exist that result in the abuse or neglect of a vulnerable adult is guilty of a gross misdemeanor.
So I suppose you'd need to find the legal definitions of "caregiver" and "operator" and, if LEOs fall into that category, I suppose you'd have to show Chauvin refusing EMTs access to the felon. Maybe there's video of that. I don't know.

"Why did you go to the passenger side?"
"Because that's where George was and also there was oncoming traffic I couldn't see."
"But it wasn't because you were scare of Mr. Floyd?"
"No."

I am amazed how these random folks all have the same response to prosecutor's lead - correct. What are the chances of that happening

I don't think that's that surprising. The prosecution met with all of these people beforehand and went over the questions that were going to be asked and what their answers would be.

Why exactly didn't Floyd just drive off? Whey were they sitting there so long outside the store with the doors open?

I know and was joking. It's so obvious they were coached though.

If Floyd was so coherent and able to hold a conversation why isn't he the one talking about using the counterfeit bill. Seems odd that the passenger, who wasn't involved in the transaction is the one talking about it.

ETA: The passenger is the American shirt guy from inside the store so he was in the store but not involved with the transaction so I still don't understand why he would be the one holding the conversation if Floyd was able to do so.

Sometimes people on drugs do weird things.

I responded to a dom batt one night and the female (the complainant and ultimately found to be the aggressor) waved me into the apartment with the frying pan she slugged her old man with.

I know a guy who made a career out of coaching witnesses. Rich as hell and as shrewd as can be. People specialize in foolproofing witnesses who are going to take the stand.

He just said he didn't recall the cops coming into the store but then said they talked to his manager? Did I mishear that?

These witnesses need to stop using the response “correct”. How many people were there? “Correct”... was Floyd angry and happy? “Correct” .... dang just talk fools, you don’t sound any smarter using the response “correct” for everything. Just say yes or no to their questions fools!

Yeah I had a pretty hard hitter who has helped Oprah, etc. in cases. He told me what to wear, how to act, down to hand placement, for a deposition I had to give. He was a jury consultant and had a whole mock courtroom built to use for such. It was pretty impressive actually.

Sending young people out multiple times to try to get them to come back in over $20 and then the people outside in the SUV just sitting there with the doors open.

Why didn’t the suv with Floyd in it just leave if they were being questioned so much, they could have drove off at anytime, none have this would have happened... why are they just hanging out in the car?
