The prosecution is limited to what the defense attorney said though right?

I love watching those videos. "I can't breathe...I can't breathe!" acting like he's dying. Then they say he's going to jail for forgery....suddenly clear as day, calm, no heavy breathing, nothing...he says "what forgery?"

Nelson is doing a great job. He’s very detailed and is showing and explaining everything to the jury in a very dumb downed manner.
Throwing out all kinds of reasonable doubts.

I find it odd that in a case that was clearly about race (according to the media) so much we watched cities burn all summer, a racial element was never entered into the trial.

The vehicle rocking is pretty good to show resistance. Hadn't seen that before. Also, like how he is basically saying reasonable over and over again with every step. That's good.

Because everyone knows it was systemic racism, and that chauvin is a white supremacist who was looking to bag him a black.
It's understood by all the correct thinking people, so doesn't need to be entered.

That will be pretty much everything because Nelson is tearing it all down.

yeah I can't wait to see how he transitions it to reasonable-doubt..

I wonder why he didn’t constantly note that no one knows exactly how much weight was on the drug addicts back.

The prosecution goes last because it's on them to prove their case beyond reasonable doubt ... I think that's the reason... The defense has to prove nothing ... just show reasonable doubt at minimum which sometimes does not even need the defense to put on a case

Pretty telling for sure.

Turned the TV on to watch the 12Noon news (CBS) and this is airing instead. Has this ever happened where other stations are playing this instead? EXTREMELY GRAPHIC. I can’t watch it. I can’t hear anyone dying like this whether someone’s in the wrong or not. Jeez. Also this is airing on more than just CBS or ABC

I love how he's using all of the prosecutions witnesses for his closing.

I mean, its the conclusion of a trial that has "divided the nation." I think it's reasonable for the local news stations to air it, since not everyone has cable.
Not saying I think it should be this big across the nation, but unfortunately it is

How many political leaders, entertainment people, etc will start tweeting, etc calling for justice for George Floyd?
It would be clearly to get to the jury to influence their decision.
