Oh there are plenty of reasons. They're just all bullshite excuses to loot, burn, and destroy.

Of course they are. To the media, you are guilty until proven innocent.
Chauvin's attorney failed to prove his innocence in their eyes.

And what good does that do??????

So the defense has to start closing at approximately 11:40. They typically have been taking their lunch break around 12. So either Nelson makes a quick closing, or he will be trying to get hungry, distracted jurors to intently listen to the most important thing he will do this trial. Rough spot for him to be in procedurally.

Yeah, at this point is is going on and on needlessly.

A drag out play by the prosecution imo.

It’s like he wants a mistrial

what about a mistrial?

Might be what he's gunning for. If Chauvin is acquitted, it makes the Prosecution look like the incompetent dipshits they are. However if it's a mistrial, the Prosecution can blame it on systemic racism and how unfair this country is to the black man.

either way OSB prices go up this week

I agree at this point a mistrial is a win for the state.
Posted on 4/19/21 at 11:41 am to ApexTiger
the defense is going to drill "beyond reasonable doubt" into the jury's heads

Don't forget crawfish prices as well.

Dilemma of conscience here. I think there's enough reasonable doubt that exists for acquittal. On the other hand, I know acquittal is exactly what Democrats and the media are rooting for so they can use it further fan the flames of "America is racist, black folks don't get justice, defend police, #BLM, whitey bad". Acquittal would be a golden opportunity to drive division and soap box racial policy.
Yeah I guess that's one aspect to consider, however, my more immediate concern is getting to that 65" HD TV I've had my eye on at the Best Buy before the building gets burned up
