Probably wait until they're reading the verdict if we're being honest

My guess is the jury gets the case around lunch on Monday. The jury is sequestered during deliberations, so guessing they will go well into the night Monday and start pretty early Tuesday. I don't see a verdict Monday. I would guess we will hear from the jury Tuesday afternoon, whether it be a verdict or notice they are stuck on one or more of the charges. If stuck, judge will send them back for at least 24 more hours. Can't see this going past Thursday unless there are a lot of malfunctions with the equipment they will be receiving to review

I really don't believe there is a lot of information that has been disputed by either side, like in a lot of cases. This one is going to come down more to their feelings on what they thing Chauvin should have or should not have done

I think they end up 2nd degree manslaughter and the judge gives him 2 years, serves 1

Only cause of whats going on in the US

He might get out of jail before the riots end in that case.

Judge should sentence him to a year and time served, the last month suspended. Watch the melts then.

Has anyone dared bring up the amount of weight that was or was not on the drug addict’s back/shoulder in the trial?

Seems to be pretty important info.

It was brought up. According to a study, the highest percent of weight transferred to the person being subdued would be 50 percent of body weight. The average was 30 percent or less. It was also stated that up to 250 pounds on a fit person (Floyd was, regardless of his bad drug habits and internal health) would cause no problems.

The physician also even made a point that this study was of course done without people in stress or idk perhaps...excited delirium ? Chauvin should walk.

So they don’t know how much weight was on his back?

Reasonable doubt?

To a sane person, yes, reasonable doubt. The only comeback the prosecution had to this medical expert's cited study was that he said Cbauvin at 140 pounds was not enough. The prosecutor on cross asked him if he knew the additional weights of a vest and duty belt. Weak

1oz for 37 seconds
40 lbs for 4 seconds
19 lbs for 1 minute
3 lbs for 2 minutes
Etc

Unless they know the specifics there is reasonable doubt. There’s no other way to interpret it.

Just listened to the Legal Insurrection podcast summary of today. How can the prosecution get away with dumping all these exhibits every night? Also Blackwell is a complete liar... absolutely lied about the exhaust thing from the defense witness being an ambush since it was provided in his report.

The best part of yesterday’s testimony was when the state knew they had a “gotcha” question.

“Do you see how many exhaust pipes there were!”

“Yes they were chromed twin dual exhausts”

“Do you know the make of the car?”

“Yes, it was a Ford Explorer Intercept Hybrid”.

Boom!
