Does this get to the point where the judge gives a direct verdict to save the jury?
After the State wraps up its case...The defense will file a motion to dismiss. I doubt he does it but from what I have seen he could.
He will let the Jury decide...imo.

It’s not a tantrum. You guys claim to deal in facts but when I present facts it pisses you off.
Nice troll job bro. “Facts” from any media outlet (left or right leaning) needs to always be vetted. These people are the most dishonest pricks on the planet.

Can you imagine the fallout if it was dismissed without defense putting on it's case! Nelson will make motion, but no way it's granted.

This isn't the best look for the prosecution.

I've never thought about this but who owned the Mercedes?

I've heard it was a friends and also heard his girlfriends car. Doubt with her drug usage its hers unless daddy paid for it.

The media is praising Nelson and are turning the script towards the " we were fed false information ". Up until now the prosecution has proven nothing and there is more reasonable doubt than ever.
At this point and the defense hasn’t even presented their case, I can’t imagine they get an unanimous decision on any of the charges.
Hung jury/mistrial.
Which it should be.
Justice will be served and DC will walk and be exonerated and should sue the frick out of MPD, the ME, and the City of Minneapolis. frick Sue the state and the Floyd family just for the frick of it.

I missed something a few minutes ago. Why was the prosecutor asking this witness about if the police unit has a catalytic converter?

If they can show his report was incompetent and he lied, why not?
You can sue anyone for anything.

The questioning about the vehicle in lock up was strange. Almost like the prosecution was implying, the defense, when they had a chance to inspect the vehicle planted evidence. Maybe I'm reading too much into that line of questioning and the prosecution was just filling time up there

Are police trained to recognize what conditions cause foaming at the mouth?
Did the foaming begin before or after Chauvin placed his knee on his him?

Was that entire testimony to get this special agent to say that Chauvin remained on his "back" (not "neck" as previously stated) after the paramedics arrived? Pretty sure that question isn't in doubt. It's been answered and is obvious.

Damn straight
Every taxpayer that paid that settlement should also form a class action lawsuit as well.
