i think you are referring to some other case. Because evidence shows it was a homicide death, not overdose.

oh yes DC's superiors stating the fact that DC acted outside of policy, and the witnesses who saw the homicide are also consistent with homicide per the medical records.
1. Clerk- "Floyd was high when he gave me the fake 20"
2. 45 minutes of Police video show GF resisting, acting weird, said he couldn't breath 15 plus times, begged to get out of the car and lay down in the street.
3. "I can't feel my face"
4. "Everything hurts", my stomack hurts"
5. "I love you momma" referencing his GF
6. Floyd OD twice in March 2020, near death experiences
7. Floyd had drugs with him the day he died
8. Floyd was with his drug dealers the day he died
9. Floyd's drug dealers had given him bad drugs before and had bad reactions to them, per GF
10. Floyd is why the police were on top of him...
THERE IS NO MURDER, NO INTENT WHAT SO EVER TO KILL FLOYD
THE ONLY OBJECTIVE WAS TO GET HIM TO CALM DOWN WHICH HE REFUSED TO DO

Once again, in Minnesota an overdose death can be considered homicide. In fact during the motion this morning to quash the subpoena for Floyd's drug dealer the State said that he may be tried for 3rd degree murder.

murder =/= homicide, which does not require intent.
murder 2 criteria would be met if they convince the jury the homicide was unintentional but DC acted with reckless disregard for the danger he was putting GF in. Which is very arguable considering DC abandoned their policy and his inaction for minutes when he knew GF was unconscious without a pulse.

For medical purposes, that scenario would have a manner of death of accident, not a homicide. Legally, the DA could still press charges of course separate from the medical determination - as is always the case.

Are you even watching the trial?

I swear AngryMidgetSyndrome and her idiot squad show up everyday just to derail the thread cause we have to explain the same shite every single day to them.

you are either ignorant or are trying to conflate and confuse the legal determination with the medical facts of the case.

you tried to argue overdose and couldnt even match the significance of .001 vs .000000001 and lethal dose vs blood concentration if they were slapping you in the face. Its very safe to ignore whatever opinion you come up with here.

any type of death can be a homicide if committed by a person...even an accident and/or suicide. Doesnt always mean it's murder.

Ah, so we're going to burn America over these brief moments of uncertainty...
sadly, 198 Americans die PER DAY due to Opioid abuse/overdose
look it up
nearly 200 per day
Floyd was just another trouble soul...but nah, let's blame a police officer for his death...
If Floyd were my son, I mean see all of this differently...
but as an outsider looking at this...
Floyd was a mess...that's unfortunate...in my view, based on everything in total surrounding this case, America shouldn't pay the price for his addictions..
It's a classic case of really bad optics early on getting everyone fired up "police murdered him"
and then we have a court case, evidence is presented, and we get a totally didn't understanding of "what happened"
what will happen?
the charges won't satisfy black America, and riots will take place
What was learned?
Don't do drugs
What black America thinks moving forward? that the system is rigged against them, though it clearly is not.. I mean the court case is being televised...it's all there for all to see who take time to look and listen
to heck with it...our country is never going to be stronger for divisity...that's BS
