Basically, yes. You are correct. And if you keep up these mean replies I just might stop posting on this thread. I MEAN IT!

Isn’t this strange? Two police sergeants and a police lieutenant think Chauvin fricked up. They must be left wing progressive whackos.

I think he acted unprofessionally for sure, but the prosecution has to show more than that. There's a difference between acting professional and committing third degree murder.

I feel when you first saw the video and let the crowd create the context it was damning.

When you see the other videos and ignore the crowd then the whole thing does not create the same perception of what is going on. We have the video so the additional crowd interpretations are only going to bias the viewer’s interpretation.

Additionally, how do they quantify the harm of the restraint that it causes. That seems to be the information needed. All I have understood is that people watch the video and they just making assumptions about the level of force and restraint.

I have no preconceived opinions about the cops other than I assume that cops do not go out every day looking to engage crazy situations unless it is necessary for their job.

The problem is the media has a good chunk of this country convinced all cops look forward to beating and/or shooting black men on a daily basis.

In some ways it’s to show credibility of the MPD, that a proper investigation was done and support any positions lthey have on chauvin’s actions.

Reminder they fired him.

It's hard to tell but when Floyd is still moving around Chauvin knee is moving with him. So you could still say too much force but def not extreme.

There was no intent to murder the guy.

The third degree charge “without regard for human life” is ridiculous after watching all the steps taken. MPD will be tossing Chauvin to wolves.
