This testimony is so forced. It very well may be accurate, but this dude clearly is saying what he was coached to say by the prosecution to keep the PD on their good side. Probably thinking about public opinion as well considering Minneapolis is known for lots of police shenanigans.

Yep. Chauvin has been left for dead by MPD by their most senior officer. That is why he is there.

I honestly haven't seen it on any of the videos but we have clearly seen , for at least some time, the knee was on the back and not the neck.

Well, even I'm willing to admit his knee was on GF's neck at some point - just unsure when the knee shifted. And to be fair, only until one of you baws posted the tweeter screenshot of Chauvin's knee on his back did I know he even had it on his back in the first place. Most of us probably didn't know until the defense showed it.

MPD will be tossing Chauvin to wolves.

This is to be expected. They aren’t going to admit they trained him. Although, his knee was not on his neck. I hope the defense makes a point of this.

-Knee on neck is not allowed in the training
-Knee on neck is deadly force
-Someone handcuffed is not a threat any more
-If someone is cuffed they shouldn't be in the prone position any more

Whats the point of this testimony?

Most senior officer just said knee isn’t a policy, is deadly force, and has never seen that done in that way. Should have been trying to calm GF down, shouldn’t be left prone because it restricts breathing, and not a threat in handcuffs.

IDK man, hes giving testimony that is not factual.. as in stating things that aren't necessarily true.. but more opinion.

Well that is sure to be challenged. The cops want him to be found guilty because they don’t want to have to deal with riots.

Bingo. This also really throws a wrench into the "cops always cover for each other" narrative.

He is the most senior officer.

Defense obv gonna have to try to tear him a new one, find that it hasn’t been done, get him to say it had been done by others..things he does want to say.

Notice they got in that even if victim
Is prone and knee is restricting chest he said that constricts air flow.

Basically this guy just implied that Floyd:

Wasn’t a risk
Shouldn’t have been on back
Knee to neck shouldn’t have been done
Knee anywhere prone restricts breathing.

Next he is gonna say that lifesaving measures should have been given a policy and that officers are qualified to do that regardless of status of EMS.

Again..they fired Chauvin. Risk entire department or toss Chauvin?
