And as we have stated before, typically 7 is fatal, but it's been seen as low as 3 in fatalities.
How did they determine that “typically 7 is fatal?”

Just realized I’m seeing a repeat of this morning’s session.

Yes, you can compress the airway or block the airway, but in this situation the blood vessels would have been constricted well before the amount of force necessary to constrict the airway.
Let me clarify: “asphyxial deaths of this type...”

typically they have been starting around 1:15pm-1:30pm after lunch. i didnt hear what the judge said this time.

I didn’t crawfish at all. If Chauvin’s leg caused asphyxia, the mechanism would be by obstruction of blood flow rather than obstruction of the airway.

I don't know shite but wouldn't that type of damage show up in the medical examiner's report?

For someone that’s opiate naive. With tolerance I think that amount increases. The meth and heart conditions is what killed him imo

I watched for the first time for about an hour before the lunch recess. I don't have any idea how the case is going from an evidentiary standpoint, but the prosecutor's affect is flat. She's almost monotone and she makes you want to drag words from her mouth to move things along. If I were sitting all day long watching her, my eyes would grow heavy and my head would bobble.
Do the jurors get notebooks in this jurisdiction? If so, I'd be doodling to stay awake.
well the big problem is that they did not release the full video for months where you can see the dude acting belligerent and like a typical drughead a-hole.

Which I mentioned in the second part of my post.

You could have hemorrhage of the neck musculature and also petechiae in the eyes. I’m sure the defense will go after the medical examiner when he’s on the stand. However, you can have asphyxial deaths without any autopsy findings. Without the video recordings, I don’t see how the ME would have been able to justify including neck compression on the DC.
It’ll be interesting testimony for sure.

People who really think like this have no place in society.

Some factors in George Floyd’s totally preventable death-
1. George Floyd was black
2. Derek Chauvin is white
3. Witnesses and those who attempted to intervene were women, children, and black men
4. Off duty EMT who pleaded to intervene was female

Autopsy report by the Hennepin County Chief Medical Examiner, Andrew Baker:
No life-threatening injuries identified --
A. No facial, oral mucosal, or conjunctival petechiae
B. No injuries of anterior muscles of neck or laryngeal structures
C. No scalp soft tissue, skull, or brain injuries
D. No chest wall soft tissue injuries, rib fractures (other than a single rib fracture from CPR), vertebral column injuries, or visceral injuries
E. Incision and subcutaneous dissection of posterior and lateral neck, shoulders, back, flanks, and buttocks negative for occult trauma"
(In short: no bloodshot eyes and no trauma to any part of Floyd's neck).

Why should they give the drug dealer immunity to testify? Eff that, arrest him for his outstanding warrants and potential homicide from the drug overdose he caused.
Posted on 4/1/21 at 1:16 pm to MFn GIMP
Once Chauvin is found innocent they will have to go after the drug dealer for murder

Words don't have meaning anymore. If he feels asphyxia is what he says it is, well then it is.
Who are you to tell him what His Truth is, bigot?

The defense is given permission to expose and interrogate all aspects of Mr. Floyd’s life. The judge disallowed the opportunity to interrogate all aspects of the murder’s life. You’re witnessing the systemic barrier to justice for Black people. It’s explained away in minutiae of
