Does the ME's autopsy report even have the word "asphyxiation" in it?
no, but it doesnt have to. why are you so hung up on that lmao. it describes asphyxiation, in terms that mean asphyxiation.
where does it say "overdose" guess thats impossible to have occurred since the specific term "overdose" isnt used.

I don't know about yall but after seeing the police cams yesterday it looks more and more like reasonable and necessary force.

my question remains unanswered. will ignore a troll like you going forward.

homicide =/= murder. I am saying homicide occurred and the experts involved in the case agree. whether its accidental or deliberate is what the trial is for.
Okay fair enough. I don't have a definitive opinion either and it really doesn't matter beyond what the jury decides.
Not sure why everyone insists on dying on some perceived moral hill in this thread.

Ruling this a "homicide" definitively is conjecture at best.
Thought homicide meant death caused by a persons actions on another? A dad shoots a guy in his home holding a knife naked in his daughters bedroom with an erection. It’s still homicide.

Toughest. And for all those pissing on “emotion” being brought in, this is all about emotion.
Which is why the old man with the white glasses was a good witness. The prosecution was attempting to contrast his composure initially with his eventual anger at the end. They are hoping that the jury agrees that at some point Chauvin went from restraining to punishing by kneeling on him.
That has really been the only thing so far that has been beneficial for the prosecution, and if anything the body cam footage yesterday destroyed their case so far.

Thank God!

Why do you keep arguing? Anyone with common sense knows that Chauvin didn't kill him.

it's not a legal term. It's used when death is not from natural causes.

no, but it doesnt have to. why are you so hung up on that lmao. it describes asphyxiation, in terms that mean asphyxiation.
If a person is gunshot, do ME reports typically say "gunshot" or do they say "high-velocity puncture wound delivered by powder-fired projectile from a mechanical instrument designed to initiate, control and expel such projectiles"?
quote:I don't think I ever made the claim that was in the report. Maybe you're referring to someone else.

Yes, you're right. I probably should have used the word murder.
Still a lot of factors here that even make homicide hard to decipher.
Crazy case and really sucks for everyone.

Character witness time. Floyd was a gentle giant just trying to get his life back on track.
