Always thought punishment on crime would get tougher like it did in the movies I watched as a kid. Society got tired of the bullshite and handled scum appropriately.
Unfortunately that was just the movies and the real life justice system is crap.

If Moore doesn't charge them with manslaughter he's a fricking pussy. That's the bottom line--there is a factual and legal basis for it and should be up to the jury to determine whether it was continuous and foreseeable.

This reminds me of the hate crime at the gas station years ago where people on here melted for similar reasons, when there was an easy path to an aggravated battery charge and a habitual offender bill.
Over-charging, especially with 3 black defendants, is going to potentially lose credibility with the jury. In a jury pool like EBR, the juice ain't worth the squeeze. Now if you were in a hardcore parish like St Tammany or Beauregard? Worth rolling the dice.

I honestly wasn't trying to play a "semantics" thing. I stated a very basic fact in that the criminal defendant does not actually have to prove anything, the burden is the state/DA. Sometimes the easiest answer is the one right in front of your eyes. Why is the line sometimes longer on one side of the V when birds fly? Answer: Because there's more birds on that side.

the main exit of the neighborhood is burbank and the backside of the neighborhood is BFE. I doubt they went too deep into the neighborhood, probably just pulled off of burbank a house or two in before stopping.

I pictured it as them driving around the neighborhood for a while, with her proclaiming they were at her house over and over again until tempers flared, BUT I could be wrong.
