I believe it was the first driveway on the left. Very odd to select that place to stop.

That’s right next to a convenience store. Hmmmmm.
Posted on 1/31/23 at 9:58 pm to JudgeHolden
Why in the hell would they pick that place?
Posted on 1/31/23 at 10:04 pm to JudgeHolden
And even if she desired sex with one or more of them, why in so public a place?
I think the prosecution can use this.
Are we sure about the location of the sex in the car?

Man, I got no idea. Just looking to get away from the people leaving the bar, I guess.

Does this place not have cameras?

You are a smart man. You are applying logic. They are animals. Think like an animal.

The only thing the affidavit says is that they headed toward Nicholson when they left Reggie’s and stopped on a “nearby street.”
I’d just assumed it was some deserted area.

An animal would seek a safe place where it would not be seen or disturbed.
If I were an animal looking to attack trapped prey — and I’m simply following your analogy — I’d have found a remote area away from lights and people.

There are lot of dark, deserted areas around there. This is really strange. There has to be a reason if that’s the spot.

So maybe they start driving and she says she’s sick. They pull over immediately at the nearest open spot. I could see that.

I don't think he knew where they went and they didn't drive Casen out to do a ride around with them. They should have but that might have given away too clearly he was a suspect.
The defense lawyers indicated the defendants were drinking as well. They may have been more sober than Madison but likely they were at least somewhat dumbed down due to alcohol.
That area of Burbank of the accident is wide open straight away (you can google street view it). Pelican Lakes / Burbank. It's also not far at all from Gardere. Many of those neighborhoods have gone 'gated' due to crime. They did not leave here anywhere remotely safe.
Their entire story is ridiculous, especially if they knew she had no phone. Uber home?
They just dumped her, drunk and helpless, at 3 a.m. because they were done with her.

Are you ninety?

There's a sheriff substation about 1/4 mile where they dropped her on the opposite side of the road. An attempt to cut Gardere crime.
Of course, they couldn't bring here there after raping her. But it's another indication they knew what they'd done was wrong.

I’m more interested in the location of the assault.
Do you know where it was?

How is this location known? Confirmed? And how well lighted was it at 2AM 1/15/23?
FTR, haven't been there in 40+ years so no idea what it's like now.

We have to remember that these boys are idiots. The same idiots that have already convicted themselves when stating about having the sex with her and knowing how intoxicated she was and then even showed a judge a video to top it off.

Clearly not the sharpest tools in the shed.
But to just pull up in a random driveway next to an open convenience store and initiate sex? That’s just weird.

Was this the four's first trip to Reggie's? Walker's what, about 25 miles east. Why would Walker teens make Reggie's their bar of choice?

I’ve only read a few pages if this thread, so I don’t know if this has been mentioned. Where was she living? Was she in some apartment in the Burbank area? Anywhere near where they dropped her? Or maybe the sorority house?
