Whether this girl was promiscuous or not (speculation on your part) has no bearing as to whether 4 men took advantage of the situation while knowing her level of intoxication. It's in their own words. Not speculation.
In my opinion, Casen is the biggest piece of shite here. He was driving the car, pulled over for the acts to take place, "admitted" he thought it was wrong (oh poor innocent one), yet STILL ALLOWED it. He could have stopped his friends at any time, but instead he stayed in the front seat and watched.
He could have driven her to a lit area. But no, just dropped her off on the side of the road in the freezing cold.

It's like posters can listen to the defense attorney and bash them for giving one side, but fail to understand that the prosecutor and affidavit do the same.

Well. This gets interesting.

Wait... you can claim the Fifth, Ive had it with witnesses in a civil trial with separate ongoing criminal matters, so why would that argument fly here unless his case is resolved?

Is this going to be one of those cases where it’s starts out looking consensual and then changes into nonconsensual like a Kobe Bryant deal? Or was she just plastered so she couldn’t really consent in the first place. Either way, terrible situation for the family.

I agree. That’s the question. Does he face criminal liability? It’s a long shot for sure. But how else does Haley get this out without putting his client on the stand?
Maybe the smart play is to plead out Lee. You can then avoid the racial bias angle but have a witness.
This case has some damn layers.

This just feels like a bunch of word salad that doesn't really address how a situation exists where the perps say she's drunk drunk and needs to be asked 5 times to have sex and Casen says they have to stop but also was asking to frick everyone. That makes no sense.
