I used to manage a bar in tigerland and you see a lot of crazy things. (It actually turned me into a guy that rarely drinks from a 4 to 5 times a week heavy drinker. It’s way less fun when are sober dealing with all the stupid shite, over and over, smelling the stale beer, piss and vomit nightly.)

You have a lot of kids, looking to get “really fricked up” and bad things can and do happen. We trained our bouncers to be on the look out for this exact shite and I paid for rides home or to hospital for kids a few times a week, as did the other responsible bar owners. (Sports was not among those, it was much more GDI and anything goes always) That was predecessor to Reggie’s.

And I always heard that the wasted kid didn’t drink anything here, were wasted when they got here etc, but all bartenders are taught to cut people off that are that drunk, and bar owners to render medical assistance, provide rides, call ambulance etc. Typically only alcoholics can tolerate that much and function due to to their increased tolerance.

Some girls can drink like a fish, and built up a high tolerance, particularly at LSU. its is much more common now than it used to be. Sorority girls are suppose to look after each other, friends do that too. This was a complete failure on everyone’s behalf.
