Your response doesn’t even make sense. If he didn’t know it was third degree rape, then again, why did he lie?
He knew something wasn’t right about it. The driver confirmed that with his statements.
I personally think they are all lying about her consenting. The “he asked her five times” thing sounds like something you would say when you know you did something wrong.
And if it is true, Why did he ask her 5 times? Was he unsure of her answer? Sounds like he knew he shouldn’t but if she keeps saying yes then maybe it’s ok.
