yet they were the main target of LSu's response. You really have no issue with that?
i don't agree with LSU's response blaming it on underage drinking but Reggie's is not above criticism here. They deserve everything they got coming to them for creating a trashy as frick environment.

How exactly do crowded college bars stop underage people from drinking?
you can either not let minors in or take their drinks when you see them drinking. Thousands of college bars across the country manage it.
just because it wouldn't be as profitable and/or hard to enforce, doesn't excuse them.

It’s really not difficult if you don’t allow underage kids into the bar.

So bulldoze all of Tigerland and all the other bars around campus too.

you say this like Reggie's is the only bar where underage patrons have gotten blackout drunk.

The only thing LSU can really do as an institution is try and curtail behavior from their students that allow these situations to become more prominent
LSU can’t stop people from being evil, they just can’t.

Are y'all really that far out of college that you don't remember how all of Tigerland operates?
She was an employee at one time. That's enough for anyone working there to say "yep she's cool, I'm probably not getting arrested if I give her a wristband and serve her.

It a ridiculous response, but whatever.

I'll take that as a no.

Shady's was worse.

They definitely aren't the only ones. And maybe this makes me a degenerate, but I definitely got kicked out of other Tigerland bars for being at or near blackout whilst underage.
I proceeded to go back to Reggie's in those moments circa 2015

When we couldn't get in a bar or had no bar to go to, we just got someone to buy us alcohol and drank other places. If the bar is there or not, we could get alcohol. It wasn't a problem. Reggie's or someone apartment or someone's house, the drinking still occurs. If kids want it, they will get it.

“Rapists are bad people! Stop raping!”
I’m being a smart arse but seriously, what would the LSU president say that would suffice for you?

North Gate Tavern was a place where scholars and learned men gathered

So my options are be happy with blaming the bar or nothing?

No, I would like you to tell me exactly what you would have liked to hear from the lsu president

Serious question, would not inebriated kids be safer staying home in their apartment complex where they know who they are with and where they don’t have to travel to get home?
Back in the day Fairway View, Place du Plantier, and Tiger Plaza had their own bars.
Those would be safer if you think about it.

I haven`t heard if her purse and phone was ever found at the bar or on the road somewhere. Besides everything else the 4 Fks may have also robbed her before dumping her on the road. Or maybe some other degenerate found the items and doesn`t have enough good character to turn them in. If there is good enough video maybe it can be seen.

If he was going to blame anything besides the rapists, blame BR leadership for being so fricking terrible.
Personally, I don't see the need to be blaming anything in the response to the LSU community about this event. So I guess just acknowledging how awful the situation is would have sufficed to me. Blaming the bar misses the mark.
