Departments That Pull Out of LivePD Due To Its Portrayal of Their City

Do the people that approve the show in the first place not realize how trashy and shitty some of their residents are until it's blasted in their face on live national TV? I find that hard to believe...

Nah, all of us here in Richland County already knew the NE part of the city inside I-20 is a festering shithole.

I always wonder why certain departments agree to this show, but I love em for it

I regularly drive by the Palmetto Inn. I'm fully aware of how shitty it is.

Anyone who has lived in Columbia, SC will tell you that parts of that area are a gold mine for what producers for a show like LivePD look for.

If you ever watched COPS, which has been around forever, you would think every city has white trash and ghetto thugs in it
Oh wait...

I would assume there is some kind of financial incentive for the departments.

Is that what happened to Spokane?
I'm sad and I miss them....

I would love to know what the impact has been to this place of business since Live PD started.

Must be ft. Relaxin Jackson where the map shows all the lonely army wives

I'd actually like to get a room there one day for the view

Spokane, St. Tammany, Calvert, Bridgeport, Midland, and Streetsboro all pulled out due to public reaction to seeing how shitty their cities truly were. Greenville pulled out for the same reason, but they're apparently coming later this season, so I don't know what happened there.
Most of the Florida departments pulled out for legal reasons, they don't give a frick about displaying their trashiness.

Calvert County MD is in the top 20 of highest median income counties in the country.
I figured LivePD dropped them because it was nothing but boring DUI sobriety testing.

Arizona, Spokane, and Greenville pulling out at the same time hurt it big time. Mastrianni not being out there for Richland hurts, too. He has an eye for stirring up shite like no other. Danny Brown and Kevin Lawrence in Richland are the only other officers on the show who are bound to find something good, and Danny just wrecked his new police Tahoe on live TV so I am not sure where he stands now.
Everywhere else is just boring. Utah, El Paso, and Jeffersonville are nothing but minor drug busts or expired registration. Pasco has potential, but I think they're shying away from it lately after the main officers were involved in that shooting. Pinal County and Clark County might as well just not even be on the show. I don't think they've ever actually shown Pinal County live, despite following them for several weeks.

Probably. I heard they got a new sheriff who was vehemently against LivePD returning. Not to mention that Mohler and Moschetto were two of the biggest dickbags on the show. They'd try to bust their own mothers for some minor bullshite just to claim victory.

only thing I've seen the last few weeks is a bunch of traffic stops for weed, initiated on some incredibly shitty pretenses.
"you had a license plate light out"
"I smelled weed when I passed you"
"you didn't leave your turn signal on long enough"
WTF!!!
The municipalities should be ashamed of how boring their cities appear to be and how petty the cops are for stopping people.

Someone sent links to the Live PD threads on here. Much of the talk was about Blondie's taint, Becky the spinner, and putting it in Ronnie's butt. I haven't seen any of them since the new season started.
Pasco can be a gold mine.
