Walter Palmer is said to have slaughtered a protected ram in Mongolia, paying up to £80,000 for the kill.

quote:

The photo Sinclair posted of the dead ram was “liked” or “loved” by 79 people, and several friends congratulated him on the kill. Mr Sinclair did not identify Mr Palmer on Facebook, instead calling him “amigo”. He talked about their once killing an elephant just 30 yards away, but said the trip to slaughter the sheep may be “at the top of the pinnacle and hard to beat”.

He has also posted photos of himself hunting turkeys, as well as other hunters posing with big cats including cougars they have targeted.

Between people not wearing masks, folks painting over BLM murals, Lady Antebellum stealing a Black artist’s name, schools thinking about opening and killing teachers and kids, etc, I don’t have much outrage left. But I’ll try to be appropriately outraged about this if it pleases our overlords.

He’s a hunter and he wants to use his money to take exotic trips and hunt rare animals. To each his own. Doesn’t ruffle any of my feathers until he does something illegal

quote:

According to WWF, the argali is legally protected by Mongolian law, and hunting it is banned. Internationally, the species is officially classed as near-threatened.

don’t really like that then...

The sad thing is in parts of the world these hunts are the only source of income for the natives.

Man, talk about a tough arse hunt. With a bow that makes it 100x harder. That animal is beautiful, full curl horn. I bet that will be a wall hanger.

Ah yea. The pussy arse count that imagines himself some grand “hunter.”

I want a gladiator battle with him in a ring with a grizzly. Mono-a-Mono. May the best killer win.

Its so sad that poor animal didn't have the chance to die slowly from starvation or disease over the next couple of years.

It’s actually $100,979.92.

Looks like the article is written in the UK. So it was written as 80,000 pounds.

Don’t like that he hunted a legally protected animal, but we have bigger things to worry about.

I would like to know how much this guy is making a year to be able to drop 100k to kill a ram. I get it’s big game hunting, but that’s so much money.

The newspaper said the two men have travelled the world together to kill animals for fun. It’s thought the ram, a “much older male”, was killed with an arrow.

What a rag this paper must be....
