But Coppola said it is his understanding that officers responded to the calls about shots fired at 7:45 p.m. in the area, but found no victims initially. He said officers found the car with the victim in it around 8:30 p.m.

"There were a few different locations that (called in) shots fired," Coppola said. "(Neighbors) may not have seen anyone, (but) that's not to say they didn't show up."
