Corsy Hollins, of 109 Baxter St., was found around 8:30 p.m. inside a parked vehicle in the 1300 block of North 37th Street, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, according to a Baton Rouge police news release. Hollins died at the scene.

Reports of a shooting in the North 37th Street area came in about 7:45 p.m. and the victim was located by police at about 8:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of 37th Street, Baton Rouge Police Sgt. Don Coppola said.

But Coppola said it is his understanding that officers responded to the calls about shots fired at 7:45 p.m. in the area, but found no victims initially. He said officers found the car with the victim in it around 8:30 p.m.

"There were a few different locations that (called in) shots fired," Coppola said. "(Neighbors) may not have seen anyone, (but) that's not to say they didn't show up."

quote:

"Maybe if they would have come when she first called, they would have caught him," Marcelle said of police.

I know that. The mayor has empowered these folks, though.

We should have a stringent IQ test for any high level public office.

ST George movement is about education at it's most basic level. I would argue The Better Together movement is about race.

45 minute response time for a shooting, not even late at night, mind you, is rediculous and deserves criticism.
I rarely agree with Denise, but the blind squirrel found a nut in this one.

ETA: misread the article, Denise is a retarded blowhard as per usual, mea culpa

I'm sure those units have GPS... will be pretty easy to prove/disprove.

Only to the extent you admit certain folks of certain races are bound to embrace a particular lifestyle and culture.

St. George is about lifestyle and culture, but if you want to make the argument that all blacks are bound to be thugs then that's your perogative.

It wasn't a 45 min response time, per Coppola. Article says officers responded to call at 745 but didn't find the victim.

Guess she didn't find a nut after all...

No. It's about safer and more productive school systems.
