fricking idiot. Why would anyone even try heroin? It’s not some secret.

Get addicted to oxycontin or other opiates first. Everyone I know that either died or went to rehab for heroin, started with the pills. Pretty shocking actually. It def doesn't discriminate.

I mean, it's all relative, right? It's not like a quarter of teenagers are doing heroin.

This. They start on the pills then move on to the needle. I took hydrocodone for 4 days after getting by wisdom teeth pulled and already felt tempted to keep taking them after I didn't need it anymore. I got rid of that sh!t. It's amazing how fast the addiction aspect of it kicks in.

Opiate addicts are becoming as common as alcoholicsz I wouldn’t be shocked if they were as common or more common among people aged 18 to 28.

3% chance she writes her own songs

Not sure you understand how it works.
They have an idea or one verse in their head and the gurus help make it catchy and 3 minutes. So most poptarts are 'writers' now.

Check her discography. she's credited with almost every one of her songs.

Posters bragging about not knowing her are just divulging their pop culture ignorance or lack of children in their lives.

This is sad as a parent and remembering hearing her on Kidd Kraddick as a spunky pre-teen from the Barney show.

I guess I meant, I never heard much about heroin or that many people still did it until this popping opiates became a huge thing. And people were just not educated on the dangers of it.

Now heroin use as skyrocketed and I have several friends/aquaintences from college that have died. All died young. It's pretty sad and these guys came from good homes.

Just saying this drug doesn't discriminate. It's not like it's just some uneducated homeless people shooting up.

Hope she fully recovers.

Reading twitter and it's insane how some people(a lot of people) absolutely worship these celebrities like they're a god. Copying this from twitter

"This is not a thing to joke about. All the fandoms should come together and pray for Demi Lovato and Lovatics by leaving all the fanwars behind. Because the topic is now health, the most important thing in the world.
Hope she recovers as soon as possible."

Lovatics? Fan wars? They're only PEOPLE.

Start with some cliche' talented musician to show us how much better you are b/c we are discussing a talentless pop star's heroin overdose.

Maybe I'm just getting old but the combination of people doing heroin as if they don't know scores of people are dying from it every day and people worshipping unremarkable pop stars bodes poorly for our future
