Leaving patio furniture where it is for now.

I wanted to ask but didn’t have the guts. Thanks for sharing. I think.

Anyone know if anything is open in New Iberia?

Drove basically all over town between Center, Admiral Doyle, Jefferson Terrance and Main, then drove out 182 to Broussard and nothing looked like it had power.

No additional damage to our home thank God. More water in the room we had already demo'd. Got that cleaned up and have one loose tarp to re-do

I left Houston at 5:15 this morning and sailed through to my house in Sulphur. House was fine. Some stoplights are working. A lot of missing tarps. They got a shite ton of rain but I’ve seen worse flooding in the last few years around here

I saw a new construction that the roof looked ready for decking .. except it was blown over into the ground.

There’s a house I can see from mine that faces south — it’s roof got ripped to shreds. I mean shreds. No other houses around us seem to have any damage.

Finding a reputable roofer with a short lead time is going to be a major bitch.

Somehow I lucked out again. A little seepage through one window but didn’t even make it off the window sill.

Water is still on the road in the neighborhood but steady going down.

We lost one side of our fence that was just held together with essentially God’s Grace.

That’s it.

Dodged another one.

Good to hear. Same story on this end. Neighbor said there is a roof tarp caught on our fence. Power is out as expected.
